Film exploring the personalities amongst the London banking world. The film consists of me sprawling ‘FORGED’ in red ink using a piece of lino attached to a beer glass to deface bank notes that I had designed adorning the face of the former CEO of Barclays Bank. The audio is a conversation I had with a Canary Wharf worker who was absolutely trollied and had just come from settling a 15 million pound deal with the hot shots at JP Morgan. The worker spoke candidly (probably due to the 15 pints he’d had) about his upbringing, career and personal life. This man has chosen a polar opposite career path to me and I found it fascinating getting an insight into a life I will never have and a one that day to day looks so different to mine. He also bought us a drink on his company card so thought I’d entertain a conversation.
