CUE CARDS, APril 2026

9 Glass cue cards, 9×6 inches with screen printed phrases on them. Phrases derived from newsletter entries.

The glass cue cards were made as props for the inter station dance competition, just incase the host forgets what to say. The phrases on the cards stand alone and are legible but their context is completely unknown on first glance. Some phrases act as puns and others are complete nonsense. When the cue cards are stacked their legibility decreases and they demand more attention to understand. They are completely impractical and nonsensical as cue cards due to them being glass and the viewer can easily see the prompts given to the host. This impracticality is reflected in the train line as a whole. Nothing is done that makes any sense, much like the real life train lines.
